As I sifted through my inbox for the VB-Insiders list emails the other day, I wandered how many of those VB MVP’s and insiders shared their thoughts, knowledge and random comments on Twitter.
I decided to send out an email to the VB-Insiders distro asking everyone who had a twitter account, and who wanted to be listed on this Tweeps List to send it to me. The response, and you can see from the list below was great. (For the record, there were a few who still felt that twitter was pointless and a waste of time; I still cannot disagree with them 100% – who knows, maybe someday I will.)
For those of you that want to know about my twistory (gee, I should coin that term, or is it already?) I joined Twitter in 2007 and I will be the first to admit that I had not seen the point of it all at first too, and my tweets’ silence was deafening as a result. In 2008 I finally saw a good use for twitter. I did a lot of traveling then, and I used the medium to keep my family up to date as to my whereabouts. It was then that I finally caught the “bug” and started Tweeting away.
I hope you find this list useful, and you follow some or all the great folks listed in it – they all have great things to say on twitter.
If are you a VB-Insider or a Microsoft VB MVP and have I missed you on this list? Please email me your twitter id at antonio [at] inspectorit [dot] com.
